Her work explores processes of archive making and history writing in the context of the Palestinian liberation and social movements in Lebanon and the diaspora. Her work draws on collaborative archival, oral history, and curatorial production to trace histories of knowledge production, explore the ideas they yielded, and tell the stories of the men and women who produced them.

She is a Lecturer of Modern Middle Eastern History at the University of Edinburgh, a Senior Fellow with the Institute for Palestine Studies, and sits on the International Advisory Committee for the British Library’s Endangered Archives Programme. She is currently curating a section of the Palestine Museum’s permanent exhibition on Dar al-Fata al-Arabi, and was part of the team that produced an oral history archive for Dar al-Fata. She was formerly Special Collections Librarian at the American University of Beirut Archives, where she co-led the Palestinian Oral History Archive and collaborated on archiving the personal papers of Constantine Zurayq.

His research explores the daily practice of democracy, particularly in the domain of knowledge production and climate action. He holds a Master's degree in urban planning from the American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Over the past decade, Ahmad has led award winning infographics projects with Visualizing Impact, and has facilitated information design workshops in London, Bangalore, Beirut, Barcelona and Amman. In 2016, he co-curated Sea of Stories, an exhibit on the lost archives of the Palestinian revolutionary period for the 3rd Qalandia International. He spends his spare time designing and marketing MyToyTown, a custom made wooden play system.
